The car phone holder is a well-designed accessory which securely mounts my phone using its strong suction cup base along with its magnetic phone holder. I have a MagSafe phone case with a metal ring at the back of the case which aligns perfectly with the magnet which firmly and securely holds the phone. The suction cup is robust and sticky, it is very easy to install as well as remove it. I simply pressed onto my dashboard and turned the ring in the clockwise direction to create a strong vacuum suction. The strong vacuum lock mechanism kept it firmly in place, and I didn’t notice any wobbling or shaking. The adjustable 360° feature is a nice feature of this phone holder. It allows me to position my phone exactly how I want it, whether in the landscape mode for navigation or portrait mode for music control. The swivel locking mechanism makes it easy to switch angles without fumbling or distracting myself while driving. The mount keeps my phone at a comfortable eye level, so I can quickly glance at the screen without taking my eyes too far off the road. The phone holder can also be used as a standalone phone mount on the desk as well as attached to any smooth surface providing a firm and secure mounting option almost anywhere. This phone holder combines durability, functionality, and ease of use in a way that makes it a must-have accessory for anyone using the phone in the car.

I bought this to replace an older car mount. Given the price point, I was prepaerd for something somewhat flimsy--I could work with flimsy.To my surprise, this little mount's build quality is quite impressive. The base itself feels like a good, solid metal; the joint has satisfying stiffness, so you don't have to worry about the display tilting unexpectedly. The ring magnet itself is very powerful, which should enable it to hold on to some weighty devices. In fact, the ring is so powerful that I accidentally pinched my finger between the magnet and the metal ring they include (so you can put it in the case of a non-magnetic phone)--it's got an unexpected strength to it!The packaging overall is high quality: the box is thick, embossed cardboard, and the mount is even sent with alcohol swabs to ensure good adhesion in your car--I've bought a few mounts in my day and none of the others ever included alcohol pads to clean the area before adhesion. It's a nice little touch that helps contribute to the sense of quality of this mount... highly recommended for people in the market for a good, sturdy magnetic mount for their car!The only drawback I had is that my phone is not itself magnetic, and my preferred case for my phone is too thick for the provided ring metal to get good 'bite' into the ring... fortunately for me, I had the metal plate that came with my prior mount. For others with non-magnetic phones and a thick case, you might not get a strong hold out-of-the-box, but a tiny solid square of metal should do the trick!

I bought a few of phone holder in the past but the magnetic was not strong as this one. This magnetic is a magic, very strong hold and steady for holding my big iPhone pro max very well. Satisfied with the product quality.

I feel like I’m forever on the hunt for the perfect phone car mount. I’ve purchased and tried many… each with its own redeeming qualities… but there’s always something that isn’t quite right. This one isn’t unique in it’s function, and due to the design and materials of my dashboard, it was a bit tricky to find a suitable location for it. That said, I think I kind of like it.The mount I’ve been using up until now was a vent-mounted one, which had great positioning but came with its own set of issues. It either overheated my phone when using the heat or dried out my eyeballs every drive. I spent most of my 50 minute-ish commute adjusting the heat settings just to give my eyes a break. With this one, the best placement I could find was between the steering wheel and the dashboard using the included round plate. This works well for navigation, especially when my kids use CarPlay and I need my phone independently for maps. While placing it on my screen would also work, it does slightly impede my use of the display.One of the standout features of this mount is its incredibly strong adhesion. It sticks really well to windows, mirrors, my refrigerator, and pretty much any other smooth surface, making it versatile for multiple uses. Even though my car isn’t designed perfectly for this type of mount, I’m still really pleased with how functional and secure it is!

Bought this upgraded version of the magnetic holder to replace the old air vent type phone holder that I left behind in the rental car.This holds my android tablet as well and I use it in the kitchen to listen to news on YouTube and it works great since it can be tilted and adjusted at different angles. Very happy with it.

Excellent construction but does not attached to anything except the most smoothest of surfaces, such as glass or mirror. The rotary locking system is very easy to use. The magnetic force is strong, and it doesn't fall off even with vibrations, so it's very good.

I'd been seeing a lot of videos on social media of people getting these locking mounts and being able to use their phone anywhere! As a content creator I thought I'd give this one a try. I did discover this is not a "stick anywhere" kind of mount, but more designed for car windshields or mirrors.Off the bat, I was impressed with the magnetic strength this one has when connecting to your phone. Like a lot of other reviews said, this one has one of the sturdiest magnetic grabs I've ever seen on a mount. Your phone is not going to go anywhere when on this thing.The mount itself is easy to use, and doesn't use batteries like a lot of the twisting lock mounts I've seen online- which I think is a good thing. Less batteries to change and it's very easy to twist and lock! When used on flat surfaces, this thing sticks WELL. On a mirror, windshield, countertop, etc- this thing is not going to move unless you unbolt it. Now when it comes to other surfaces: doors, walls, etc, this doesn't stick like other social media mounts you see, which I was a little disappointed in. It's not that it doesn't secure well, it actually doesn't stick at all. I can't fault the product though, as it's primarily advertised for car use.If you're using this for a car windshield mount, this is a great choice! If you're a content creator, there are more versatile mounting options out there.

This is a very good portable phone holder. I carry it with me when I travel so I can use it in a rental car or hotel because it is so compact and versatile.It has a unique rotating dial to mount and dismount the holder. Once mounted, it has very strong suction power to hold it firm.If you want to mount it somewhere permanently and don’t have a smooth surface, it comes with a mounting plate with double tape. If your phone is not MagSafe, it comes with a metal ring with double tape for you to stick it to your phone.It is well built and looks nice. Excellent product.

Most parts are made of metal and the product gives you a quality feel. All the joints are fairly strong and will stay put without changing position. The geared suction lock ring is well-designed and smooth. It is easy to lock in the suction with a bare hand. It is much better than other similar suction cup designs I have reviewed. The ring has a good grip and is sturdy. Once locked in, the suction cup holds very strongly. I am very happy with the suction cup design.Unlike an iPhone, my Pixel 8 does not have a magnetic ring to work with these magnetic mounts. Therefore, I have no choice but to attach a metal ring on the back of my phone with double-sided tapes. However, this does not look good. Another better option is to attach the metal ring to the back of the phone case. However, I do not want to do that either because the back of my phone case has an artistic pattern that I do not want to be covered by the metal ring. So the best option is to attach the metal ring on the inside of the phone case. This method has worked well for me in the past. Unfortunately, the ring magnet of the phone holder under review does not appear strong enough to penetrate the phone case well to make a solid magnetic bond. Therefore, sadly, this is not an option for me. I am disappointed.In summary, this is a solid magnetic suction cup phone holder that should work very well with phones that have a built-in metal or magnetic ring like an iPhone. It may not work very well with phones that do not have this feature unless one is willing to destroy the aesthetics of the phone by attaching a metal ring on its back. Attaching the metal ring inside a phone case is unfortunately out of the question because the ring magnet is unable to hold the phone securely through the case.

This is the best cellphone holder. It has a bunch of ways to hold the phone. Straight up, to the side or in an angle.The suction for the hard surface works really well on pretty much any table. It has an accesory in case your surface isn’t flat. Plus it has a magnetic ring in case you don’t have an iphone.It holds the phone really tight. Definitely not scared to out the phone upside down or straight in front of me while attaching it to the mirror or the wall.You could probably usw it in your car too.

This Magnetic Suction Car Phone Holder has been the perfect addition to holding my phone in the car. It is easy to install by just pressing and rotating to lock it in place. The suction power is impressive and it stays put even during sudden stops or when driving over bumps. The 360 degree adjustable arm lets me set my phone at the perfect angle for navigation. I like that it can hold my iPhone 13 Pro max and the metal ring included works well. I have even used it on smooth walls and mirrors at home for extra convenience. However, if you're using it on a rough surface you will need to apply the included adhesive sticker for a stronger hold. Overall, it’s a solid, versatile phone mount for both my car and home.

An awesome alternative to a permanently affixed phone mount. It stuck perfectly to my car windshield and the mechanism to secure it by simply twisting it is very satisfying as it provides a nice audible ratcheting noise until it’s secure.It was easily able to hold the weight of my iPhone 15 pro max without any grief. Granted, my phone case is MagSafe compatible meaning it has the added metal ring embedded into it. If yours doesn’t, the phone mount comes with a 3M affixed metal ring.Overall, it’s a great product with a lot of variability in how you can mount your phone and the build quality is excellent, albeit not aluminium as I was thinking based on the product images. Regardless, it’s sturdy and feels substantial.

This is a reasonably decent car phone holder/mount that seems reasonably well made and for the most part works as expected although I'm not exactly a big fan of the stiff hinges and how they operate. The physical build seems decent albeit typical of most others of similar design and style so there isn't anything fancy here; however, it does have more plastic parts than metal than expected based on the ads (i.e. metallic paint) which is a bit of a bummer to say the least.The MagSafe mount is actually fairly strong which I do appreciate and the suction cup is easy to use and operate with the rotary lock/dial in comparison to many others (particularly the old models) with the push-button design. An adhesive metal plate is also included to provide better suction for material/surface types not ideal or suitable for suction cups. Note that the adhesive used for the metal plate is fairly strong (after cured for 24-48 hrs) and it might cause damages to fragile surfaces if it were to be removed later so just keep that in mind.It has a fairly wide range of motion and can be tiled and rotated 360° in either direction; however, this particular phone holder utilizes the mechanism of lazy engineering whereby the hinges are made to be as stiff as possible to support the weight of the phone (or whatever you wanna use it for) rather than using other creative mechanisms to achieve the same goal.One of the reasons I dislike such design is that the hinges will inevitably fail (and usually when you least expect them) due to simple physics (i.e. friction-based); it's the same reasons why brake pads, amongst many others of similar design, need to be changed regularly. In any event, it does work just fine for the most part despite the fact that it's not exactly easy to work with in my mind.≡ ValueAll things considered, this is a reasonably decent car phone holder/mount that seems reasonably well made and for the most part work just fine without issue although I'm not a big fan of its stiff hinge because they are simply not easy to work with. Aside from that, it's actually quite versatile with fairly strong suction and decent MagSafe. However, it's a bit pricey at $42 for what it provides and its overall build quality, features, usability, and performance. Your mileage might vary.
